With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we, the staff of the CSB Times, wanted to give thanks to people in our lives.
I, the adviser, want to thank all the teachers–especially the new staff–for being a part of the paper, answering so many questions. It can be scary to be in the paper sometimes–thanks for being great sources.
Jathniel writes, “I am thankful for our principal, Mr. Olson, for his support throughout my years at the Covenant School of Bridgeport. Without anyone’s support at this school, let alone Mr. Olson’s support, other students and I wouldn’t be where we are today.
Jayden G. is thankful for family. ”I am thankful for my brother because he is here for all my life, and he makes sure I am ok when I have a facial expression when I am in a mood.”
Mr. Olson got another thanks from Ky’Reese. “I am thankful for Mr. Olson for helping to make this school and also for being the best principal he can be.”
“I am thankful for Ms. B,” writes Sebastian , “She is a nice person who likes to help a lot of people. Also she is a good and fun teacher.”
Tristan wanted to thank many people. ”I am thankful for my coach and my brother because of the skills they taught me, my teachers for believing me, and my parents for giving me the life to do all these great things.”
Alan looked to last year. “I am very thankful for Mr. Duffy and Mr. Finkle, my teachers last year.”
Juan wanted to recognize Mr. Januzi. “He’s my math teacher. It’s my favorite subject, and he’s really good at teaching it.”
Mr. White came to Eduardo mind. “He is a nice teacher and helps me when I don’t know something. When I’m having a bad day, he makes it better.”
And Pharrell wanted to thank a friend. I want to thank my friend Jeremiah Thurman for helping me make my VR games.
It’s important to think of others during the holidays. Thanks!
